HANGAR-7
 http://www.hangar-7.com/

Opened in August 2003, Hangar-7 describes itself as "the extraordinary home of extraordinary aircraft". In the grounds of Salzburg Airport, it was originally conceived as "putting up a new home for the planes which the Flying Bulls had brought together over the years to form one of the world's most notable collections of historic aircraft... then the plan turned into an idea and a vision: a vision of creating a place where the love of flying and the love of art meet. Of foregoing a mere utilitarian structure to create a place that would be uplifting in every respect. A combination of airplane hangar, art gallery, fine dining and space for new experiences that would be unique the world over. The vision has become reality". The well designed Flash website, available in German and English versions, offers a rich and enjoyable journey into the building and its contents. Awarded a Sapling Commendation. [GAS, 20 Jun 2006].
