Reality Hacking http://www.realityhacking.com/ The (unnamed) artist responsible for 'Reality Hacking' writes that "by taking a perspective usually limited to looking at art in the museum to the everyday world I interact with existing public situations. The consequences of these encounters are interventions or temporary installations which are often abandoned. In this process the artist subjugates himself to the act of perception by being anonymous." This regularly updated site illustrates these installations - realised, unrealised and proposed - with some fine and evocative images. In doing so, Reality Hacking achieves what it sets out to do - challenging our traditional perceptions of place in a manner which is both witty and thought-provoking. A wholly enjoyable site to visit, awarded a Sapling Commendation. [GAS, 4 Jul 2010].
